Tidal Tracks Will Not Play in Roon

Description of Issue

I have existing accounts with Qobuz and Tidal. I signed into both in the Roon Core app on my PC. Qobuz tracks play without a problem. Tidal tracks will not play through Roon on my PC or PowerNode using the Roon Remote apps on my iPhone and iPad. I logged out of Tidal on the BluOS app and set Tidal to Offline Mode on my IPhone and iPad. I logged out of Tidal, restarted Roon, and logged back into Tidal. Tidal still will not play. When I try to play a Tidal track, Roon displays the following message: “Too may failures. Stopping playback.” How can I get Tidal to play in Roon?

Thanks for taking the time to write in! If possible, could you please reproduce the issue a few times, grab the date and time of when the issue occurs, then use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

Thanks for responding.

I opened Roon and attempted to play 3 Tidal albums. On each album, Roon quickly skipped through each track with no playback. At the end of each album, the following message was displayed: “Stopping playback. Too many failures.” This occurred at 7:40 pm ET on 5/20.

I zipped my log file folder and uploaded the file to the File Uploader. The name of the file is Doug Pless Roon Logs.zip.

Thank you for sending those over. Which albums specifically? We’re not seeing anything in your logging around the timestamp provided.

If you haven’t yet, I would also give your router and core a hard reboot before anything else. If you play audio through the system output on your PC, does the same issue occur?
