Sounds like our good old friend the AirPlay1 vs airplay2 sync issue. There’s an other whole thread on this one and roon support have been sitting on it for months.

How’s this going @Tech_Admin I mean it’s been months, still no fix Here I stupidly thought in all the updates you’ve put out for the last few months you might have addressed this So I go to use airplay tonight for a party, and surprise surprise, huge delays between airplay 1 and 2 zones. Utterly unusable. Not even an opportunity to add custom delays to zones to try and get it close. Why bother offering the functionality if you can’t make it work?
