Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Music won’t play or issues with my library
· Streaming tracks greyed out or unavailable
Tell us what's going on
· Running ROON on Mac mini as server and up to date
Also iMac with 2.64.
When I add some tracks to a playlist it is unavailable. It is there on Qobuz or in my library and I can play the track.
I’ve tried removing it from the playlist and adding it again.

Hey @Oliver_Meyer,
Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report!
To confirm, are you moving / copying local tracks into Qobuz playlists? From a fresh Roon Server diagnostic report, we can see repeatedly across these playlists, the logs show the pattern: “No tracks matched to library” → [MatchUnavailable] … Tracks=0 Accepted Tracks=0. In plain terms, when Roon tries to link certain playlist entries to a playable Qobuz version, it finds zero acceptable candidates and marks the track unavailable.
Are you able to find the same unavailable tracks within Qobuz? It can happen when the specific Qobuz release a track points to gets de-listed, regionally restricted, or replaced by a new release ID, even though the same song still exists and plays fine when you find it fresh via search (which is exactly what you described). Removing and re-adding from the same playlist view often re-adds the same dead reference, which is why that didn’t help.
Let’s see if any of the following help:
Re-add from a fresh search, not from the album/playlist where it’s greyed. Search the track in Qobuz within Roon, open the version that plays, and add that instance to the playlist. This forces a new, live release ID rather than reusing the stale one.
- Check your Qobuz region/format settings. The matcher rejected every candidate in many cases (
Accepted Tracks=0). Confirm Qobuz is set to your correct country and that no quality preference is filtering out the only available version.
- Force a library re-sync: Settings → Services → Qobuz → disable, then re-enable/log back in. This refreshes the cached track references the matcher is using.
- Note the affected playlists. If it's concentrated to specific playlists, those likely contain older entries pointing at releases Qobuz has since rotated out.
We’ll be monitoring for your reply, thank you!
