yes i am currently on linux but i see to fail the point.

The main point is that they are not obliged to make things easy on an unsupported platform

The new login has been in place for a year and apparently other Linux GUI users could log in, so I guess there is a way.

Rather than entering login credentials within the app, the ARC and Roon login pages now open to a browser where users can securely sign into all Roon services. i also tried it on a android tablet of mine which also has no web browser installed (the tablet is not meant for web browsing).

I suppose if the specs say “Android”, they mean Android with basic default apps, not a zombified one. What’s the problem with having a web browser installed? As long as you don’t use it, it does nothing.
