Trouble with Roon Server software update for Synology DS220+

Several weeks I’ve got a problem to update my Roon server. I’ve spent many hours to solve the problem with different support topics. I’ve followed the instruction to install the spk file manually without success.

Finally I decided to contact the support. I don’t know for what reason but didn’t get any reply or at least a ticket.

Today I spent many hours again to solve the problem. I’ve installed the spk file again and now it seems to run. Hopefully !

So for what reason do I write?

I’m not an expert in computer software and like to spent more time in listen in music instead with software problems. I like to use Roon very much but if it causes so much efforts to use I doubts in my membership.

The only support ticket by you on the forum is from 2024, so I am not sure how you contacted support now.

In any case, to open a support ticket go to the Support category of the forum (you can click: Support), then click the big Get Help button and fill out the answers to the questions.

This will create a new topic on the forum under Support with your issue title and a ticket number. The support staff will get to you when you make it to the top of their queue.
