After installing Roon I realized my library need to be cleaned up and now have the files groomed with all the right meta data. Unfortunately, my roon still shows all the previous meta data etc. I want simply re set roon to the refreshed library by starting over completely. Can someone walk me through it.

Ben here with the support team, thanks for your patience while we work through each thread! Could you please fill out the rest of the necessary system info on your original post?

If you’d like to start with a fresh database, you can follow the steps below:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
