Hello Peter @wklie! If you connect an external clock to the U2X, can you simultaneously distribute from the U2X clock outputs to two other devices (DAC, Switch…)? 
My reading of the Lumin announcement suggests that two devices could be connected to the U2X in order to synchronize all devices to a master clock.
Yes, this is what I was told at the show.
I have my fingers crossed for them to make a stand alone DAC 
Yes, output 10MHz to two devices, from either an external 10MHz clock, or the U2X internal OCXO.
I looked at their website and they were vague about whether this device could actually serve as a Roon core. I’d really like to move my core off my PC, and there are some impressive streamers out there, but I’ve yet to find one with a significant processor ( i5 or better) and 8tb SSD storage on the motherboard. So far the ASUS NUC 15 pro+ looks like my best option.
U2X is not a roon core.
I recommend using Roon rock on a NUC.
None of the Lumin devices serve as a Roon Server (Core).
