· New Nucleus to replace an old Sonictransporter. I am trying to reach my previous backups. I have two but i cannot choose the folder or add a network share location to start the process. Every time I try a combination of paths I see "Invalid Network Path". Any help welcome. Thanks

Hi @Mike_C,

Thank you for your post. A few clarifying questions to get started:

Are you using a desktop or a Mac to setup the network share here? Windows 11 will have some specific steps for enabling guest access, and MacOS Tahoe might require you to toggle local network access for Roon.

Have you tried using the IP address instead of the hostname in the setup window?

We’ll watch for your reply. Thank you!

I’m using a iMac desktop. Unsure about an IP address and how to find.

Hi @Mike_C,

Thanks for your patience here.

Please first ensure that you’ve toggled local network access on for Roon in your MacOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network. Also enable File Access for Roon in the System Settings in the Privacy & Security tab.

From there, you can find the IP address of your server in Roon Settings → About or by looking in the network section of the Web Admin page.
