Describe the issue

I cant access local folders only network ones and even so cant conect throuhg SMB to my NAS. I have a nucleusone and an Mac Mini where Roon runs. My library is in the internal SSD in the nucleusone. But I was forced to connect to Dropbox for backups because can't use my Nas or local folders in my Mac Mini.

Describe your network setup

Unify Network, switches, router. NuceusOne hard wired to the switch where the NAS and the Mini are connected.

Did you configure a folder on your NAS to be shared?

Yes of course. And I should be able to see local folders which I can’t either…Nucleus One, NAS, Computer all wired to the same switch.

Hi @Alberto_Arebalos,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. Can you see your NAS share from any computer outside of Roon? Does the NAS show up in your router settings? What error messages shows up when you try to add the NAS folder as a network share?

Hello and thanks. I re share a folder and was able to connect that folder to Roon. Now it works OK. However, i can’t see any local folder in my Mac which I think I should be able to see. Any ideas? or can local folders only be seen when the server runs in the Mac? Now obviously it is running on the nucleus one. But when I had ROCK running on a NUC I was able to see those local folders, so I am lost now.

Can you share a screenshot of the share settings for the missing folders? It should look something like this.
