Do you have Container Station installed and running?

The instructions to install the Roon Server container are here.

Did you figure out the exact folder name and path on your NAS where the music files reside? This one must be inserted into the second share path when generating the docker script in GitHub form, so roon in the container can see it later.

The default setup solely works if your music is stored in a top-level folder called /Music.

The easiest way to resolve this, would be sharing a screenshot of your top-level folder structure in File Station, stating in which folder the music is. Roon team or members of this board can make a suggestion for the path syntax.

Hey @hammelya, welcome to the community,

Your setup sounds like a QNAP Container Station install issue rather than a library problem inside Roon itself.

For QNAP, the right starting point is our guide for Installing RoonServer on QNAP with Docker. It walks through the Container Station setup, the required container image, and how to map your music folder into the container so RoonServer can see it.

Two things usually matter most here: Container Station needs to be installed and running, and the NAS folder containing your music must be mounted into the container with the correct path. If your music is not in a top-level /Music share, the folder mapping has to be adjusted to match your actual folder structure.

If you can, send us a screenshot of the top-level folder layout in QNAP File Station and let us know whether Container Station is already running. That will let us point you to the exact path mapping to use.

Once we see that, we can guide you from there. Thank you! :folded_hands:
