Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

After a few years with Roon, I decided to add music to my ROCK. I cannot find how to add music files. I know I added a lot of files when I built my ROCK. I cannot find how to do it!

@John_Berrie, let us know if you find yourself stuck adding the network share or choose to pursue a different import method.

Depending on the operating system, there might be steps you need to take to ensure the OS actually exposes the files to ROCK.

I also recommend entering the IP address instead of the hostname when you add the Network Share location itself in Roon.

Just checking in on this. Were you able to add the network share using the IP address instead of the hostname, and did you run into any OS-specific steps needed to expose the files to ROCK?
