· Dear Support Team, after integrating my Nucleus into Roon successfully assigning music folders from my Synology NAS, I'm trying to add music that's not stored on the NAS, but on my Mac. Unfortunately, I am only given further file paths of the NAS. Isn't it possible to assign music from different storage media? If possible, what do I need to do to integrate the music folders on my iMac? I hope I was able to explain my problem clearly and I hope you can help me. I look forward to your reply soon and wish you a happy new year. Alain

Have you read the FAQ on this..

Hello @aschtz,

Just to confirm — after following the FAQ that @Rugby linked (sharing the music folder on your Mac and adding it as a network share in Roon), are you now able to add the music from your iMac successfully?

If not, please let us know:

  • At which step things don’t work as expected
  • Whether the shared folder from the Mac appears at all when you try to add a new storage location

That will help us guide you further.

We’re going to assume this issue was resolved behind the scenes, since our diagnostic servers show internal storage on the Nucleus is now populated with some additional content since your first post.
