Please try to restart your Roon Server by closing the Roon app in the taskbar or rebooting your Roon Server machine.

Thanks for reaching out to ask about this. I need a little more information in order to help you with this.

  • Have you tested if any other devices can connect to your server?
  • Are you running a firewall on either your server or remote device? If so you’ll need to add exceptions for Roon, RoonServer and RAATServer.
  • How is your server connected to your router? Do you have any network switches?

Also the picture you posted doesn’t seem to have uploaded correctly. Can you try posting it again?

I can connect to my other devices except my Macbook Pro 16 m1. It’s connected via ethernet as well as wifi

What about the firewall question? All macOS computers have one built in. Can you try adding exceptions for Roon, RoonServer and RAATServer?

macOS includes a built-in firewall to protect the Mac from network access and denial-of-service attacks. It can be configured by going to System Settings > Privacy & Security (macOS 13 or later), the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences (macOS 12 or earlier), or by using a configuration profile with the Firewall payload installed manually or provided by an MDM solution.
