· Try adding RoonServer and its associated processes to the whitelist of any firewalls or antivirus software you have installed, including the Windows system firewall, if applicable. My ISP is Comcast Xfinity cable modem/router combo. I connect my own Asus ZenWifi AX router through the Comcast. I am running Roon Server on a MacBook Pro 16 M1 Pro. I followed the troubleshooting prompts and turned off the firewalls in the router and Mac. Still no connection...
The diagnostic snippet you’ve shared indicates that other software is competing for the same port assigned dynamically to RoonServer by your router’s UPnP firmware.
First, try changing the port assignment in Roon → Settings → ARC to something else.
If that doesn’t work, I recommend circumventing port forwarding entirely by setting up Tailscale for RoonServer on the Mac instead:
