Unable to Detect Naim ND5 XS2 Streamer on Roon Server (ref#1367B4)

Description of Issue

Just signed up my pc as roon server. Installed software. Can’t go any further no idea what to do next. MY roon endpoint device is a Naim ND5 XS2 and does not show up anywhere on my pc though its on the same network (my old SONY HAP used to always show as a network device)

Have you checked Firewall exlusions there should be 2

huh? No idea. Where would I know or find that?

actually on the install windows defender kept coming up and I kept selecting “allow access”

You should see it under Settings Audio in the Roon ready category and be able to enable it.
Hopefully that fixes you up.

windows key > settings> Update & Security > Windows Security > Firewall & Network Protection > Allow an app through Firewall

They should be checked as shown , if not check them and save

In Roon>Settings>Audio> Roon Ready Section

Does it not show up at all, or just Roon?
Does it not work with the Naim app?

Checking in on this thread, I see from your account info that your Roon Sever has been online and active recently, with a proper Roon Ready connection established. Are you still having issues?
