Unable to detect Roon Server after software upgrade on Nucleus (ref#5IP7WX)

Is Roon Server running?

· No, Roon Server is not running.

For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.

· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.

Describe the issue

i performed the software upgrade and since then i cannot see the roon server on my network and it is not connecting to Nucleus. i have rebooted the network several times, changed cable, and powered down the roon. I cannot see the server at all.

i have a cox cable modem and the router is a Asus GT AXE 16000, with nodes in a few rooms. The roon is directly connected to the Asus node with ethernet cable.

Can you connect an HDMI monitor/tv to the Nucleus and see what messages are issue during the power up sequence?

Does that mean you don’t see it in your router’s admin page, also? As in, it is not getting an IP address assigned to it by your router? If so, try what @Mike_LC said and see if anything comes up on the screen.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this problem. Like @Mike_LC said a good first step here is to connect your Nucleus to a monitor via HDMI and share a picture of the output if there is any. From there we should be able to narrow down the source of the problem.
