Roon Legacy (1.8) is EOL (End Of Live) and no longer available or supported.

Roon 1.8 is unfortunately no longer available or supported at this time due to potential security vulnerabilities.

It’s not possible to download the legacy version of Roon. You’ll need to download Roon 2.0 on supported hardware to use Roon at this time:

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but as @BlackJack and @Carl have noted, Roon 1.8 is officially End-of-Life (EOL).

We no longer host, distribute, or support the 1.8 legacy builds due to security vulnerabilities discovered in the underlying software frameworks. Because these versions are no longer secure, we have removed all public download links for them.

To continue using Roon, you must use the current version of the software.

We are unable to provide any legacy installers, and we strongly advise against using third-party download sites for Roon 1.8, as those files are often compromised or contain malware.

Is there a particular reason you have been relying on the legacy Roon 1.8 track?

We’re curious to hear why you preferred the older version.
