Unable to export certain playlists to XLS from Roon (ref#T71KW8)

Some of the Playlists are not getting exported as xls. I am able to create playlists for some and not able to create few. All my songs are in QNAP NAS and show up in Roon. I create playlists out of it and when I try to export to xls, its not working for many.

Describe your network setup. I never had this issue before and only experiencing today

By this do you mean you try to export them and nothing happens or do they come out in the wrong file format?

When I export playlist and clicking on save to desktop link just hangs and did nothing nor provided any error. I had other lists which had downloaded successfully. Was there any limit to number of songs in a playlist to download? However I tried with 100+ sobg playlist successfully and not 144 it just hangs.

Thanks for taking the time to write in, and welcome to the community! We’re happy to have you here, although I’m sorry its an issue that prompted your initial post.

With the screenshot you’ve included we were able to enable diagnostics on your Roon Server machine, and in review of the report we saw a lot of errors in regards to Roon having trouble identifying tracks - potentially tracks that were in the playlist you were attempting to export.

Before anything else, I’d first safely stop Roon Server from running, and then reboot your machine, and try again. Let me know if you have the same issues.

If so, head over to Roon Settings>Library>Skipped and let me know what you see.

How many songs are specifically in the playlist? Have you tried waiting a longer period to see if the export eventually completes? There have been reports in the past where longer playlists took a bit longer before completing.

I have 144 songs in a playlist and another one is 97 songs. However 107 songs playlist downloaded successfully in a jif.

It was just hanging in there for 4 hours…

Can you try making a smaller playlist from the albums that you used in your 144 track playlist and try to export that small playlist? That should tell us if the problem is the size of the playlist or the albums in the playlist.

Hello Sir, Thank You! I copied the playlist and I were able to download the playlist successfully for all 144 songs. I deleted the original one. Thanks for your Support!
