Description of Issue
I just had to change to this NAS from a slightly different model before because of a problem (unconnected with Roon). Today I installed the disks (including the music library) in this new NAS and everything works fine (other than the Roon connection).
The IP address on my network has changed but this does not appear on the Roon settings storage page, where the path is listed as \NASEA79A3\Download>Music.
This is actually still the same with the new NAS. Therefore I cannot see what I can do to reconnect Roon to the music library. If I click on `add folder’ in Storage the screen says
Error loading folder - not found
… but the only change is the IP address, which is not included in the filepath. I have looked at some articles on the Community site but I can’t find an answer. I have attached some screenshots. Can anyone help please?
@support Hi, unfortunately I haven’t had any replies to this post so I still don’t know what to do to resolve this problem. I did get an email on the 9th March to say that a support ticket has been created. I know you must be very busy so a delay is not a major problem, but as I haven’t heard anything else I’m worried that I’m not going to get a reply. Could you please let me know if you will be able to get back to me to put my mind at rest?
Thanks, Peter.
@support It is now 13 days since I posted this problem. Is there anyone who can help? I have an expensive Roon Nucleus Plus sitting doing nothing as I cannot connect it to the music library on the NAS, and unfortunately I do not know how to solve this problem. Can someone please respond?
Disabled storage entry for the old NAS, added a new entry for the new NAS using the ip address, the storage location mapped correctly and the music was added to Roon.
Many thanks, Ratbert. You are a scholar and a gentleman and I’m very grateful for your help. @support please ignore my previous messages - problem solved.
