Description of Issue

I am unable to group arcam av40 with Sonos speakers

MacBook Pro 15. Ram 4gb ssd drive 128. System age 2 years

Connected Audio Devices

Sonos era 100 - one 2 gen. - Wiim mini all the devices are connected to the same network. Sonos and Wiim are grouped ok.

You can only group “like” protocols. That is RAAT with RAAT, Airplay to Airplay, Sonos with Sonos etc.

I’m guessing the Arcam does not support Sonos. If your Sonos supports Airplay and your Arcam supports Airplay you could enable that and then group them via Airplay. I’ve used that workaround in the past as a lot more things support Airplay.
