Hello @James_Holland,

Thank you for reaching out, and thank you for updating your payment information!

When a subscription temporarily lapses and is then manually renewed, your local Roon Server often holds onto the cached “expired” status instead of immediately recognizing the new payment. To fix this, we simply need to force your local system to ping our licensing servers for an updated status.

You can resolve this by doing a quick re-log of your account:

  1. Open the Roon app on your Windows machine.
  2. If you are stuck on an “Expired” or authorization screen, look for the option to Log Out or Disconnect.
  3. Once you are completely logged out and back at the main Roon login screen, enter your account email and password to log in again.

Logging in fresh will pull your newly updated and active license status from our servers, and you should be able to launch and use Roon normally right away.

Please let us know if you run into any trouble getting logged back in!

Hello @James_Holland,

Wanted to follow up on this. Were you able to log out of the Windows Roon app and sign back in so it could refresh the updated license status from our servers? If you were stuck on the expired or authorization screen, that fresh login is the step we mentioned to clear the cached subscription state. Let us know what you see, thanks.

Yes, I was able to log in. Everything is sorted out now. Thank you for the follow up.
