Unable to log in to Tidal account in Roon after reinstalling (ref#ASET2S)

Describe the issue

I had a problem with my Roon server. I reinstalled everything and after some playing around with the files based on your instructions, I was able to get into Roon. But I cannot log in to my Tidal account in Roon when using my valid login information that works on the web. The Tidal portion seems to work fine, it takes my information and then I go back to Roon and it just gives a spinning indicator that it is trying to login but never does. I have most of my music through Tidal, so without access to the streaming service, I won't be able to use Roon with any enjoyment. Thank you.

Thank you for your post. I’d first login on the Tidal account page in a browser outside of Roon. If you can successfully sign in there, then fully log out of your account.

Clear the cookies in your browser and also temporarily disable any content blockers (adblockers).

From there, close and reopen RoonServer and attempt to login again via Settings → Service. Please let us know if this helps.

Hi Connor, I just did all of that and it hasn’t let me login.

Ok, in addition to doing what you outlined I needed to turn off my virus protection software and reboot computer too before it worked. But it seems to have worked now. Thank you!
