Thanks for the details here and welcome to the forum. Last.fm login within Roon typically requires an email address and password combination. Have you verified that you can log in with the same credentials on the Last.fm website?

looks like last.fm is getting my plays from the qubuz connection. However it was still not working from roon as of last night. I double checked my credentials and can login to last.fm directly

Thanks for the update. We’ve enabled an additional level of diagnostics on your account.

Please restart Roon Server a few times, reproduce the Last.fm login issue again, and let us know the exact timestamp. We’ll continue from there.

I the problem was reproduced 3 times at 1:05pm EST on 8-4-2026

Removing ROON from the connected apps in my last.fm account and then reconnecting via ROON solved it for me. Good luck!

The reported issue has been forwarded to R&D. In the meantime, would you kindly confirm that the workaround provided by @vessmier is also working for you?

That work around is not valid. I do not have a previous connection to roon on last.fm

We noticed you aren’t running the latest version of Roon and Roon Server, if you could please update your devices and then attempt the steps @vessmier mentioned above, it would a good test with the latest versions of Roon.
