Describe the issue
I can't login to Tidal. I was able to login yesterday.
It looks like the login flow is reaching the browser, but the service-side sign-in is not completing for TIDAL.
Since you can reach the login page, the next thing we want to narrow down is whether this is specific to your Mac, or something tied to the account/session that Roon is handing off to the browser. A few things would help us separate that:
What exact error or behavior do you see after you enter your credentials, does the page spin, refresh, or show a message?
Are you logging in through the same browser you normally use on that Mac, or is Roon opening a different one?
Can you sign in to those same services directly in the browser on that Mac outside of Roon?
One useful test on macOS is to make sure the default browser is fully up to date, then try the login again from a private/incognito window. If the page is being blocked by a saved session or browser extension, that can expose it. If you have any content blockers, privacy tools, or extensions enabled in that browser, please temporarily disable them for the login attempt as well.
If you can, send us the exact behavior you get after the redirect, and we can take the next step from there.
I am now able to sign into Roon after restarting my device again. I think I was also experiencing some other memory or caching issues while going back and forth within a playlist yesterday, but I think that it may have been resolved when service was ‘restored’ last night. I will let you know in a few minutes with another response.
The memory caching issues persist within playlists. Hitting the back button causes any playlist to reset its orientation, like from being sorted by recently added to default. I will try and clear my cache, and hope the problem fixes itself either tonight or tomorrow, when you could possibly advise me further.
The playlist issue that I previously described still persists. Pushing the back button causes the playlist to reset to its default state instead of the state that I last sorted it in, which in this case, is by most recently added. This happened a few years back, and was fixed in an update. Is there anything that you could think of that would be causing this problem this time around?
This is confirmed to be expected behavior. However, if you’d like to submit a feature request to remember sorting per-playlist, feel free to do so via the feature request community category below:
