Unable to play my VTuner radio stations

since today I’m not able anymore to play my vTuner Radio Stations. I always get “Unable to play this station…”. However, when I take the link and copy/paste it in a browser the station is played well.
E.g.: “http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?id=s18555&formats=mp3,aac” isn’t working anymore
Linn-Radio (“http://89.16.185.174:8003/stream”) for instance is still working.
Why is that? Please, advise!
According the app I’m running the latest versions.

Hi @Marc_Loore,

Thanks for reaching out here, I am able to reproduce similar behavior on my end with the radio station you noted. What is strange here is that sometimes it works on my end and sometimes it does not and I can’t say if this is due to the streaming service itself or due to another cause.

I have asked QA to review this behavior, in the meantime if one of the other streaming links posted work as expected and without issue, I would suggest that you use the other one for the time being.

HI Marc, I see you are not the only one that is experiencing issues with stream radio stations as I recently updated firmware where all streams are constantly cutting out like if you were in a bad coverage area on your mobile having enough Internet bandwidth. I manage to stream for 15 minutes before experiencing issue mentioned.

I’m using Yamaha Model RX-A1050 Model https://au.yamaha.com/en/products/audio_visual/av_receivers_amps/rx-a1050_g/index.html to stream.

I’m not able to troubleshoot any further to resolve this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Marc_Loore/@Sergio_Wheel,

Can you please let me know if the same behavior occurs if you try to output only to your “System Output” zone on the Core (and not grouped with any other zone)?

I reached out to QA and they are unable to reproduce this same behavior on their end, this issue might have something to do with geographic location possibly?
