· Hi! I've got an issue with playback my Tidal collection. Signing in Tidal, browsing my Tidal library and all the Tidal features are ok but I can't playback them to any of my Roon endpoints. I've got Qobuz connected through Roon and local Hi-Res files with no playback issues. Any suggestions?

Hi @Andriy_Gutsal,

Thank you for your post.

Do you have any issues if you play Tidal content via the Tidal web player or native app?

Our diagnostic servers indicate that you’ve had two separate RoonServer instances active since you posted, hosted on separate machines.

Reviewing the logs from the most recently active RoonServer, we see Tidal content downloading from the Tidal API without issue, but then dropping out after accumulated sample loss during audio transport within the network (from RoonServer to a Marantz networked endpoint).

Sample dropouts within the network are most commonly the result of WiFi interference. If you haven’t already, try hardwiring any networked endpoints via ethernet.

If you’re already using ethernet, then we’ll need to also ensure that the network is forwarding multicast traffic in a manner Roon expects. Do you have any separate network equipment other than the ISP router mentioned in your post?

Additionally, for good measure, try changing the DNS service in your router to a known, reliable server (we recommend Cloudflare, 1.1.1.1). Here’s a guide for your particular router:

Let us know if this helps. Thank you!
