Describe the issue

I have created an extension with source control. Later I have realized that the name was too long, so I changed it. However in the zones where I have already assigned it with long name I am not able to remove it. The UI is hiding the X button. This source control is no longer registered in Roon, but it still appears on the impacted zones. Is there some way to delete this ‘zombie’ source control?

Hey @StefanK,

Thanks for writing in!

One option could be to remove the extension itself and re-add it.

Can you try clearing your endpoint cache? You can do so using the following steps:

Note: Deleting these files will

  • Log you out of Tidal/Qobuz
  • Delete your endpoint names.
  • Delete saved DSP configs.

If this doesn’t help, please restore the backup you made before trying these steps.

Thanks Benjamin, you were right spot on. I just adjust a a bit the procedure and did not delete all the files in Registry/Core, but only the ones that mentioned the long name of the source control.
This way I did not have to re-enter credentials.

The zombie source control is now gone.

Thank you
