Describe the issue

When logging into Roon iOS app, I’m asked for which account I want to use, I click on my email address which takes me to a screen called ‘Welcome back’, two options are given a button called ‘cancel’ and one called ‘sign in’ pressing sign in simply does nothing, even after repeated clicks.

Describe your network setup

Apple Mac mini m1 running Sonoma OS, ASUS Zen WiFi AX running two nodes. No range extenders or switches.

Hey @Duncan_Heavisides,

Thanks for writing in! It’s good to see you on the community again.

As a next step, could you please:

  1. Reboot your mobile device and try again
  2. Test out using a different mobile web browser if possible
  3. Delete and redownload the Roon mobile app

Let me know if you run into the same issues occur after the above! :+1:

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but this has not made any difference, I’ve also forced a restart of my iPhone, but again this hasn’t helped.

In terms of trying a different web browser, the log in issue is occurring within the Roon iOS app, so no option I can see to complete log on through Firefox or Chrome as an alternative. The sign in button responds when clicked but doesn’t initiate anything a take me forward to a next step.

Hi @Duncan_Heavisides,
Roon’s login process should open a browser window after you tap the login button. Can you check if your phone has any settings that block pop-ups or prevent apps from opening browser links? That might be interfering with the login flow.

Thanks Daniel, I noticed an option to log in with another account, this option allowed me to log in successfully and did open a new window to sign in.

Before I managed to log in I also tried switching the default browser to Firefox and chrome and ensured pop-up blocking was switched off, neither worked.

At least I was able to find a workaround.

Appreciate the help.

Hi @Duncan_Heavisides,
I’m glad you were able to find a way to make login work. Is there anything else that we can help you out with?
