Suddenly things started working and Roon ARC is able to connect now.

No changes on my side (no reboots, no updates, …). Unclear if anything changed on Roon’s side.

It would still be nice to know why it didn’t work in the first case (ie. what did the investigation reveal).

Glad to hear that things are working properly again for you! The investigation into this revealed that something was causing IPv6 to not work properly, though it may have been a transient issue. @wizardofoz - Is ARC now working properly on your end as well?
