· How to get 192/24 Tidal from Roon to Wiim Ultra? My Wiim is brand new and connected via Ethernet. WiiM and Roon software up to date. I am using USB output on the WiiM to PS Audio Sprout100. Tidal is my streaming service. WiiM/Roon/Tidal signal path is shown as “TIDAL FLAC 44.1kHz 16bit 2ch“ on 192/24 Tidal songs. Output resolution on WiiM is set to “max” 192/32. WiiM EQ is set to “off”. WiiM sound is set to 100%. Output resolution on Tidal is set to “max” 192/24. Using Tidal Connect on the WiiM instead of Roon, the WiiM signal path is shown as 192/24 on 192/24 Tidal songs. Can you help me get 192/24 Tidal from Roon to Wiim Ultra?
We have reviewed the diagnostic report from your machine. In this case, Roon was playing the Tidal track at 44.1 kHzbecause it received the stream in that specific format from Tidal. It was not a case of the WiiM endpoint being unable to accept a higher rate, but rather the source file itself being delivered at that resolution.
