Unable to switch back to Nucleus after reactivating old Mac server (ref#TVLGPM)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· I had an old roon server on my mac and transitioned over to a nucleus one(worked fine). i fired up my mac server on my desktop thinking it would allow me to choose between my mac server and my nucleus. it does not. i cannot get back to my new nucleus server, even after deauthorizing the mac server.

Tell us about your home network

So are you saying that Roon does not see your Nucleus as an option as a Server then?

Are you sure it is on the same network etc?

Yes I cannot see the nucleus, only my old MAC server.

They are on the same network.

Then there is a problem with the connection somewhere.

When I say are both on the same network they need to have the same subnet of, for example.

192.168.100.xxx.

The first three sets of numbers have to be the same.

Also silly question but have you done a full power cycle of the Nucleus?

Reset did the job don’t know why. But now I’ve lost my storage. Will work on that tomorrow.

Thanks, Mark

If you get stuck with the storage it would likely be best to create a new thread as it’s going to be a very different problem.

Good luck!
