Unable to use Roon Core with VPN

How did you do this? If the VPN is behaving properly, then Roon should be unaffected by the VPN ( as one would assume the exemption feature in the VPN software does). Tell us what the VPN software is and how you exempted and we’ll try to figure out what’s misconfigured.
