It happens again today. Tidal plays recommendations after a song ends. But I still can not start Radio based on a song.

I will keep this updated daily. So the thread is not closed for another comment.

The moderators are not privy to Roon’s plans. Roon will provide updates in the thread that was linked in the post you replied to. As far as I know, the post that is linked there is still the latest status.

When selecting Start Radio on any track, I get the error message: Unexpected error: Limiting Roon Radio to Library

All was working well, this error message is persistent.

Are you still logged into Tidal inside of Roon?
If you are can you log out,restart the Roon Core and log back into Tidal and see if matters are improved.

I did log out of tidal. Restarted roon server, to no avail.
Problem persist.

currently, when choosing Start Radio on a track, Roon does not respond, but the error message (roon radio limited to local library) does not appear anymore.

Is there a solution coming for this issue?
Roon Radio (music discovery) is most important to me. Otherwise I will cacell my Roon account and stay with Tidal.

Did reinstall Roon Server again.
Problem still not solved.

Does this problem exists with the EARLY ACCESS versions of ROON?
Should I update my Roon system to Early Access?

Now do it differently, select a song and then go to “Play now” and when it’s over, Roon searches as if it were “Start Radio”. I don’t understand why it takes so long to solve the problem.

Not happening exactly for me.

If you select a track from the Roon’s albums list and Play Now, then Roon continues to select similar music at the end of the track. But if you come from a playlist’s track (with Play Now) or choose any track from the playlist’s track album (again Play Now) than Roon indictes “Nothing similar to play” at the end of that track.
To me, this issue is linked with the handling of plsylists by Roon.

With today latest update [ Roon 2.0.36 ], the problem seems to be solved.

Not solved yet!!!
Still getting “nothing similar to play” after selecting roon radio, for playlist’s tracks. Those tracks have working radio tracks from within tidal!

Please solve.

Edit: noticed, that if the paylist’s track album was added to Roon library, than it enables Roon Radio to operate.

After an update today: problems solved. Thanks, Roon. Would you be so kind to tell us what happeneed?

After the fix, got a lot of “roon radio cannot find similar tracks” messages. Seems like a damaged library issue.
I did a restore from two weeks ago. Now it seems to be ok. Will check further and report.

Edit: problem solved after restoring library to one belonging to a previus roon version.
