Unexpected Tracks Appearing in Play Queue on RoonServer (ref#V84LBM)

Describe the issue

Random tracks show up in my play queue, starting a few days ago. This happens if I reboot the roonserver, perform a backup or simply wait a number of hours. The tracks are from my library but I did not place them in the queue. "Roon Radio Automatically pick music based on your queue" is turned off. I have tried toggling it on and off. If I already have tracks in the queue the newly placed tracks show up interspersed with the ones that I placed, not just at the end of the queue I created. The shuffle function is off, and I have tried toggling it on and off. Over 8,000 tracks are being placed in the queue.

This is a known issue with the latest production release (build 1480). There is a fix for it in Early Access (build 1484) which will, hopefully, go to release in the next day or two.

See the thread below which started discussing the prior Early Access build (which exhibited the issue) and goes on to describe the same issue in the production 1480 build and the solution, hopefully, in the 1484 build Early Access build:

I have seen this for a bit, probably starting with the OPRA builds? Not sure. At first I thought I made a mistake or it’s some kind of glitch, but now I reproduced it for the 3rd time at least after this update. ROCK and macOS / iOS remotes. I am trying to get important-for-me albums higher up in the “most played” album sorting because I played them a lot before Roon, and stupidly a user can’t edit the play count, so the only way is playing them.
