I hope that someone has experienced this problem before. My newish subwoofer began emitting an unusual sound, like the muted, distant putt-putt of a one-cylinder engine; comes on when music ends. It may be new, or it may be that my prior speaker was not sensitive or set too low.
I use a subwoofer transmitter/receiver, with about 20 feet of distance between the speaker and receiver. I strongly suspect RF interference but wouldn’t know how to fix the problem.
Sorry if this post is off-Roon and unallowed. But there are lot of experts here, so I thought I’d ask for diagnosis and fix. Thx.
