I am trying to update Tailscale on my Nucleus One. The current version is 1.72.1, and it says I am six versions out of date. When I click the “Start update” button, it initially says “nucleusone updated”, followed immediately saying the update failed. Screenshot of error message is attached.
Understood - I was hoping that might resolve an issue that I am having while connecting to Roon remotely. I am able to make the connection via Tailscale; however, I cannot play audio from my MacBook Pro, only able to control devices on the home network.

Roon offers support for connecting Roon ARC via Tailsclae VPN to your Roon Server. IIRC is there no Roon ARC version for MacOS, which I believe is what’s running on your MacBook Pro. AFAIK is using Roon via VPN of any kind still unsupported. You may find other users experince with using VPNs for Roon in the Tinkering section of the forum.
I am able to connect to Roon Arc on my phone and iPad without Tailscale running on those devices. Is that where Tailscale install on my Core comes into play? Just allows me to connect to Roon Arc?
Sorry for all of the ?s - I’m working off little to no understanding of how this stuff works, so kinda feeling my way through it.
