Description of Issue

I cannot find the new Nas on my room app
Have upgraded from WD Cloud EX to the new Ultra model and try as I might, it doesn’t sync to Roon.

I don’t know what else to do.

I have taken a few snapshots of the Roon app trying to find the server and of the NAS dashboard.

Can someone from support please get in touch to see where I am missing something?

Thanks
Bruno

Sorry for the late reply – was travelling for work

Thanks to your help, I was able to solve the issue

The solve was to use the IP address:

The WD My Cloud is not a full-featured NAS device, but it can be supported by adding a folder in Roon’s settings and entering your credentials and the network path. It would look something like this:

  1. smb://ip address/share/folder

using the tablet to configure is not so good
I downloaded roon on my desktop and it was more user friendly to remove the old nas and them look for the new one

Again – thanks to you and Daniel for the support

Rgds
