What app are you having the slowness issue with?

What kind of performance/speed issue are you experiencing?

Please try to reboot your Roon Server

· No, the issue is still the same even immediately after a reboot

Please try to reboot your networking gear (Router/Switches/etc.)

Describe the issue

Upgraded to Roon Nucleus Titan and Significantly Downgraded Performance

Describe your network setup

Roon Nucleus Titan, QNAP TS473A, 16 GB ram. Asus GT-AXE16000, Xfinity Gigspeed

Why does it look like Roon Server is running on your NAS when you have a Roon Nucleus Titan as a Roon server?

If I have inadvertently done that, shame on me. How do I verify? I thought I’d transferred from ST to Titan appropriately:

Please see:

There is a step in there, telling you to stop / shutdown your old server, so you would connect to the new one and be forced to unauthorize the previous server. Did you do that? You can also check your current server in Roon | Settings | About and in General you can disconnect from your current server if needed.

Then why share a picture of Roon Server running on your NAS? Why is an unused Server using so much CPU time on your NAS? Please stop Roon Server on your NAS from running (App Center or Container Station) if you no longer need it there.

OK…Well, I feel like a fool. Somehow in my transition from the ST to the Titan, I inadvertently placed the server…on my NAS and not the Titan. I’ve moved it, relatively painlessly. It’s probably not a stretch to assume this will resolve my slowness. Thanks for pointing that out.
