Tracks 1-03, 2-06 and 2-07 are absent from Roon

I have tried multiple "Force Rescan"s, to no avail. Curiously, the total track count is correct (as if Roon had seen the three missing tracks), but they don’t show up in the GUI. It says this album has 11 tracks, even though it has 14.

N.B.: This appears to be a regression in 1.7.x. I have numerous examples of tracks imported in 1.6, with accents in the track-name. They all appear just fine.

FWIW, I wonder if this could be an NFC vs NFD issue in Roon.

The tracks were named in iTunes on a Mac, and then the files were uploaded to my NAS. The music directory, in turn, is remote-mounted at /media/Music on my Roon Core machine. Clearly, “ls” on the Roon Core machine has no trouble with the filenames. But, evidently, Roon does.

See if they show up in a different album. I added a test track with the name that failed for you and got this:

That turned out to be exactly what happened. The 3 tracks in question got separated off into a second “unidentified” album.

Merging the two albums manually fixed the problem, but I still think this is a bug.

Agree absolutely! You should report it.

Hi @Jacques_Distler,

Would you mind sharing this album with us so we can take a closer look at what you experienced? You can share this via a shared Dropbox link (or any other file sharing service link) in a PM here on the site.

Thanks!
