I too am getting variable playback speed playing from Flac files from Roon via 2012 Mac Mini/Meridian Explorer2/Meridian861v8 . Sounds like an old record at the wrong speed .

Hi Brian,
In my case it was just some hi-res music via Explorer 2 . I have it set to Exclusive Mode so I didn’t change any settings on Mac Mini just selected the source .

Does this bug affect certain files reliably?
No , not necessarily particular files and it only happens with Explorer 2 in use not when played via HDMI/Meridian HD621for example . Files play fine in other zones too .
