That has worked for me … now Siri instinctively knows to use ARC when I ask it to play something…

Yeah, this is awesome. I am on vacation for 3 weeks and ARC failed after a couple of days. Several days later I got your screenshot as well, and since then, everything is working fine again. Roon server updated from across the pond.

This is really cool and works very well on Android Auto, in my case.
Maybe some additional voice commands to bring up the browsing tabs on screen and scroll through them would also be useful

I’d like to know the answer.
Currently, my device is a little box (Carlinkit box) which is an android device but connected to my Golf 8R through Carplay. Not able to ask Roon Arc playing anything with google assistant.
However, it allows me to play if I connect my google phone with my car through Android Auto.
Hope the function will supported in the near future.

I have just tried this on CarPlay and it works, great timing as I am off out in the car. I think you should amend the article to say after setup it takes a little time for Siri to figure out arc is the default as that had me puzzled until I read the other community comments

Musk is brilliant, but the Tesla cars my buddies have are cheaply built, and except for the “S”, don’t look good. The interiors are cheap, plastic hub caps, fit n finish isn’t as good as cheaper cars. I also don’t like the proprietary methodology used hat they implemented in their cars: you can’t use CarPlay, can’t use Roon arc, or any other app to hat I can use in most cars.

I am so close to setting up a roon server again… I got rid of everything a while back because another service just worked so well with Siri. If Roon did the same, I’d be like take my money…
