· Volume does not work. Music is playing at the same level. I can hear music and turn the volume up and down but it does not change the level music is playing.

What is the exact stereo hub that is being used with Roon that is not responding to the volume controls? As an interim solution, you can try to set the device to use DSP Volume in Device Setup, which should override the device volume controls.
