Description of Issue

I’ve been successfully running Roon for years on my PC. To start I just click on the shortcut icon on my desk top.

All my music is on my E drive so software communication is within the PC.

The “Waiting for your roon server” popped up yesterday (after a blue screen of death) and that’s all I get.

Usually once Roon opens I use AirPlay to connect to my Marantz streamer, but now Roon won’t open. I poked around and looked at the Roon log which creates a bunch of text each time I try to open roon, see below. Help!!

From the logs, it looks like Roon Server was updating, and is niw unavailable. Since you had a BSOD, the update may not have completed.

You may want to try downloading and reinstalling Roon.

When I go to settings/apps to uninstall Roon I get: “Please quit all instances of RoonServer before continuing.” Which is the same message I get if I hit the downloaded install exe. Task Manager does not show Roon as running. Suggestions?

Closed Roon on the system tray, reinstalled and now back in business!

I think a lot of people did not read this…
