I frequently go to another location where I have a roon server, so I need to switch servers depending where I am. The waiting for your roon server page on my phone is extremely annoying.
1) On my Android phone the alternating title "Waiting for your roon server." and "Waiting for your roon server..." makes the whole screen toggle back and forth since the ... doesn't fit on the same line. (Pixel 6 and 8)
2) Then with the "select a different roon server" text being extremely small! it is hard to select it with moving position back and forth.

The video demonstrates a less-than-pretty example of text-wrapping on the bolded “Waiting for your RoonServer” message caused by the animation of the ellipses “…” The team is eager to iron out any issues with the UI and display when they are reported, but we’ll need a little more information to take action on this report.
Checking your account diagnostics, you have several Android Roon Remotes, some of which are running different proprietary operating systems that will affect the UI.
Please first specify the device from which you shared the screen capture and the included manufacturer (Samsung, Google, etc.).
Next, please clarify whether you’ve adjusted any font size or zoom settings on this particular device.

I just rechecked and the behavior is still there. I use a Google pixel 8 phone having recently upgraded from a pixel 6. Both phones were showing this behavior. These are not the ‘Pro’ versions. The other phone used is a Samsung Galaxy 20? My wife’s phone. It is not showing this behavior. Neither phones has been adjusted for text size I don’t think.
So it just may be the Pixel phones that are having that issue. Probably not a large number of these using roon. It is an annoyance though. :(.
Also increasing the text size of the select a new server would be helpful.
Thank you for your effort on this. It is a minor annoyance, but I wanted you to be aware. It would be great if that can be rolled into some future update.
Do you have any non-standard scaling settings applied? Our QA team has instructed to double-check. You can see this in Android Settings if you search for “Display Size.”
Hello. Attached shows my two choices. Font size appears to make a difference. When I set it smaller it shows the issue consistently. The line wraps after Roon when I set the display larger. Ideally this would be regardless to what I have these set to. Thanks again.
Does this issue frequently occur when you have the Pixel’s default font size set on the phone? I believe the default is 14p on that device. Thank you for the report once again.
