Description of Issue

I use my Wyred 4 Sound music server as my Roon Core and have the Roon app on my phone. I’ve been having trouble with the W4S core and want to add my Roon account to the laptop I use to store all my music.

How can I do that?

If you have only a single Roon Core license, then you can have only one Core running at a time. Do you want to migrate your Core from your W4S server to your laptop? If so, the following instructions provide assistance in migrating a Core from one server to a new server:

If you do not want to migrate your Core to a new server, but rather control it from your laptop, all you need to do is download the appropriate Windows or Mac applicaiton from here:

and connect to your Core over the network. Does this help?
