Want to move to ROCK on an Intel NUC, but my model is not in the "supported" list

Hi there! To create a new topic, please click “Get Help” below and enter your details in the form.

:point_right: Get Help With Roon

The current supported list is:

However, I own an Intel NUC 12 Pro with i5 vpro chip.

a) It is a real (albeit the last) Intel NUC series?

b) It is similar to “Intel NUC12WSHi5”?

c) I use it for private purposes and it is NOT connected to any company or private domain.

Please tell me if I can install Roon Rock and move to Roon 3.0. soon?

Also, how do I move my library files (I make regular backups) to the new ROCK Roon Server?

Kind regards,
Hans

I have moved your post to Roon Software Discussion. Please don’t post directly in Support. Instead, please follow this link to provide the details of your case to Technical Support: Technical Support Request.

As you have said, Roon publishes a list of supported hardware. Consequently, their response will be that the Intel NUC 12 Pro is unsupported and may not work with Roon OS.

However, a search of the forum shows that this model can run Roon OS. Note that their is no difference between identical models made by Asus or Intel.

For the migration, follow the order of steps in the documentation
