Might be time to can the Devialet and go back to a 2 box solution. AX-5 and QX-5!
I have to assume there is a disconnect between Ayre’s specification of RoonReady and Roon, thus the silence?
They’re working on their integration, but not certified yet.
I can’t really share any details about what they’re up to beyond that, but we’re looking forward to saying more when there’s an announcement to make.
Has the Ayre QX-5 been certified by Roon yet? It was working fine as a Roon Ready device in the shop and I thus ordered one that I expect to have in a month or so. But I have not seen any update on the Roon web page that shows Ayre QX-5 has actually been certified.
It works a treat for me as the endpoint both by LAN and by USB, but still says not certified.
It was working well with Roon at the shop where I auditioned it as well, but I wondered why the actual certification has not yet occurred. I certainly hope Ayre doesn’t back out as Aurender seems to have done.
Roon (the app) will only displayed “certified” for previously uncertified devices after a new version of Roon is released, AFAIK. So it may be certified but won’t display so in Roon.
@Support,
I’ve had the QX5 since December 2016 and wonder why there is no category for Ayre products in this topic?
So do I…
And yes, that is not a complete sentence.
