Weird problem with the Avatarium live album

When I play the Avatarium Live album, see below, I get noticeable gaps between the songs.
I tested the same album with the Tidal and Qobuz apps, no gaps.

Then I fired up Audirvana 3.5 and again, played the local files, ALAC, no gaps.
Then as a final test I listened to the local files with Audirvana Studio, no gaps.
Only when I play the album on Roon do I get the gaps.
It only happend with that album.

Convert it to FLAC.

I have done that to no effect. I should have written that.

With Flac, I still get gaps when I play the album with Roon, and no gaps on all other players, including both version of Audirvana.

I was able to find this album on Qobuz.
I could not get it to play back gapless in Roon.
I play A LOT of live recordings with gapless playback. I’d be here bellowing otherwise.
I have no clue why this album is having issues, but I’ll add a +1 to, it doesn’t playback gapless.

I used Lumin app (not Roon) to check the first several tracks of this album on Qobuz. I got gapless transitions in the tracks I’ve tested.

Thanks for explaining what the issue is and what you’ve already done to remedy it (we’re grateful for that :pray:).

I wonder if you play to System Output (if not enabled, it can be in Settings → Audio and then selected as a Zone) is there still a gap in playback?

@Henri I have also tried for you:

Roon/Tidal not gapless.
Roon/Qobuz not gapless.

Tidal Connect to my streamer gapless.
Qobuz Airplay to my streamer gapless.

Remote on Macbook to System Output not gapless.

Yep. Still an almost one-second gap while playing.

The situations seem to be; when played with Roon server, Audible gap
Played with any other player, no gap
