I’ve just ended reading Alchemized. In the beginning it was a bit hard (or dull perhaps), but it’s getting better and better. So I really liked it.

Just finished (Eventually) book 2 of Andrew Mayne Naturalist , definitely a scientist’s writer , I love ‘em

Glad you liked it, I finished the latest last week which finishes all the series at least for now. I think you have about 20 books ahead of you if they keep your interest. But there are 3 or 4 story arcs with different hero’s that all come together towards the end. ENjoyable stuff if a little predictable at time.
Great value in my house as I read them, the wife reads them, my dad and his girlfried too

Peter Straub was always a favourite author, and that other guy is not half bad either.

Re reading these two. Gallows Pole is a great interpretation of real events that happened in the Calder Valley, before the Industrial Revolution in the UK. Will be laying a few coins on “King” David Hartley’s grave tomorrow in the hilltop Yorkshire village of Heptonstall.

I could not put it down, overall I really enjoyed it. There were some long drawn out parts where I felt like it was never going to end but SenLinYu’s writing style drew me in from the first page.
I’m on book 4 of a series of 12. Possibly after that 
Though I’ve got 30 books on the shelf, 40 in my Goodreads and 50 in my Amazon TBR.
