Tell me how you like the Meridian Prime Power Supply
I’m mainly using the USB input connected to a schiit wyrd to save the extra costs fir the Power Supply

I am using the Prime Headphone amp using the basic power supply. Purchased the amp on sale a couple of weeks ago, and the Prime Power Supply is still on sale as well. Link below…I am using an Uptone Regen (where you are using the Schiit Wyrd) and don’t foresee getting the upgraded PS. From the different reviews I read, I’m not sure I would be able to tell a big difference using the upgraded supply.

Genelec 8351 (monitors) internal DACs via Intona & Mutec MC3+USB at home.
iFi iDAC2. Listened to a few in this modest price bracket and it was definitely the one for me. Exceptional bass (and especially sub-bass) performance compared to budget multibit offerings. Mostly upsampling to DSD256 with HQPlayer’s poly-sinc*2s filters, but occasionally to 384 PCM with closed form. Eyeing the iDSD Black Label as a next step up.
Does anyone know if the SMSL M8 DSD DAC plays nice with Roon ? (specifically with Roonbridge on Linux Pi3 fed via Ethernet (wireless disabled), particularly in terms of DSD upsampling post 1.3 ?
Just upgraded my AVR today. Anthem MRX 720. Running it mostly as a prepro except for a couple of surround channels running through the receiver. I enjoy listening to Roon music in “all channels” mode. Thing has some sweet DACs and I haven’t even run the ARC room correction yet…

No issues whatsoever! 
However, i must tell you that my S.M.S.L M8 has lost its USB capability… Less than four weeks after warranty expiration. And it wont do more than 24/192 on it’s SPDIF inputs, which still sound great though.
RAAT seems like a very good transfer method. Perhaps a RAAT DAC would be a nice addition to the ROON ecosystem.
Best place for the RAAT to be is right before the DAC chip.
Imagine a DAC with a Ethernet connection to accept all the data going straight to a processor being driven by a top notch crystal clock which hands off straight to a DAC chip.
Suddenly no need for fancy USB cables, no need for expensive converters, no SPDIF cables etc or any of their limitations or ill effects etc.
There are some Ethernet Based DACs that have RAAT. However, the only ones I’ve seen are expensive.
Maybe you should check out PS Audio’s DirectStream and DirectStream Jr.
